Ship a Car Direct is a broker. I never shipped a car before. The videos on their site were very informative and I felt were customer-oriented. My Ship a Car Direct contact, David, was outstanding. He answered every question I had (there were plenty, and frequently)- patiently and with solid information. He even went to the length of discussing with me where other vehicles were going in my vicinity, with the result that I chose one right near by (better than my own house with has a small street) and familiar to them.

The August vehicle delivery and care of A1 Tran, the actual shipper: after David notified me, they came for pick-up right on time, were in touch with me throughout, the driver called twice with day-before generally and specific ETA that day, and he was early (I did not have to wait). The driver took care to clean the car and assure that I was satisfied.

Although this is a review of Ship A Car Direct, I mention A1 Tran because the quality of service reflects on the judgment and care of Ship A Car Direct in their selection. I speak from my own experience and not for anyone else, but in my experience, the judgment and care here by the broker, in the selection of the shipper, was very, very good.
