I chose this company because of their "door-to-door" service. I have found that if a company advertises door-to-door, it is most likely not the case. From the first conversation the representative wanted me to drive 1.5 hrs away to drop the car off. When the date arrived, I worked it out with the driver to meet me at the interstate which was better for him anyway, so not too big a deal.

I picked the car up at 9 pm in a mall parking lot. The driver of the truck parked in a poorly lit area. I walked around the car and inspected it. I did not notice several small dents on the roof. I signed the form and left in my vehicle.

Approx one week later I was getting into the car and had my hands full so I set something on the roof while I opened the door and noticed several small dents. These small dents would not have been noticeable at night in the dark unless you really looked hard. I counted approx seven (7) small dents above the driver's side door on the roof of the car. I then looked at the passenger side- same thing. The exact same small dents in the exact same location...just opposite side of the car. It became obvious to me that it was likely caused by the upper station being lowered too low and impacting my car since they were the same dents parrallel to each other on opposing side of the vehicle.

I called the representative that I dealt with and explained that I discovered damages. I sent him pictures via email. We are not talking about a small dent on the side that could have been caused by anything...it is obvious that these dents were caused on the car-carrier truck. I have not heard back yet.

If you ship your vehicle, have a flashlight with you when you pick it up at night. Check the top extremely well.

Hello Gayle, when a customer does an inspection on a vehicle at arrival they must be careful. If you sign with No damages It is almost impossible to go to Insurance company with a claim. We move over 8000 vehicles a year, every once in a while there is a dent or scratch that insurance will cover if it is documented on Bill of lading. Wish you the best in the future.
