My overall experience with amerifreight and the transport co. Cal- transport was very satisfactory. From the beginning the lines of communication were seamless and responses prompt. After a carrier was located the time frame between pickup and delivery was surprisingly quick. Communication with the driver was easy on both ends of the process. The only criticism I have is the disclosure of the price increase. I was informed early that there was a possible a $200 increase at the carriers request, which I was ok with, so I submitted my deposit. After my deposit I was informed the price was actually increasing by $365, substantially more than the $200. In the future I think amerifreight should be more upfront with the possible range in their price quoting. I still feel the experience was very positive and professional, both by amerifreight and especially cal-transport. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services in the future.
