I have just had an A+ experience with 1FlatRate . From the time of my first call, As I spoke with their representative I was treated respectfully on the phone ,as Had given respect back . I was not badgered in any way to make any instant decisions , he simply said call us back , you have our number .He did not hound me for deposit from my credit card ,he simply said we accept that also if you like at the time of delivery , but you can have a money order , bank check , or cashiers check in our name for the driver at time of your vehicle arrival for the deposit . By which time of the arrival of my vehicle , I had the bank check already with 1FlatRate endorsed with the agreed payment amount as their deposit ,which by the way was 30 bucks lower than the other whom I had previously called but didn't realize that until later . The transporter payment I choose to pay in cash whereby there was no surprises , I had the agreed amount in hand for the Driver . I have to say prior to the final delivery moment ,I have had phone call updates with the transporter all along the way with time frames of delivery. The 1flatRate was also updating me along the way also and their 24/7 !!!!!!! so I can call them at anytime which I did , what a relaxing experience . I felt so good knowing and not feeling the pressure of a pushy sales person as another company did on to me, this is what happened to me from this other company , .the other company needed credit card for deposit ,they would not accept any other form of deposit ,and they state they need this before we can dispatch a truck to pick up your vehicle. So what happened was they ran my card prior to dispatching the truck the driver had the location info ,
my credit card was declined , they kept on hitting my card for their deposit ,I am in contact with this other company as well as going to my bank to find out what happened to my card being declined ,I find out my card is no longer any good , I call this other company back and speak to their accounting manager to cancel my order. I repeatedly tell him cancel my order with you ,they ignore my request .we can straighten this all out he says , I say again cancel my order , am I clear I say .they called me back so many times from all these people from this company telling me they can not cancel .we will take legal action for our deposit . after that I called 1flat rate whom posted my pickup location and destination on their board ,It just so happened to be picked up by the same driver as the other company as I found out later. The other Company is trying to blame me for a double posting of my vehicle , where as I had said to the HEAD HONCHO , just cancel my order like I previously stated what don't you understand . And this would not happen . The HEAD HONCHO of this other company ,by the way I have found that they are and have several company names they go by had said He can take legal action against me. I had said it is not my fault if the driver had taken the posting from 1FlatRate after I canceled with you .He went on and on to blame me for it all ,when I said simply cancel my order with you ,are we clear , he just could not take no for an answer , another words stop on my order , And that is suppose to be my fault ?
The moral of the story is " Thank Goodness There Is Good People In This World " Plain and simple.
