What a relief!

I am relatively new to the auto transport business and did not relish the thought of having to arrange transport because of the Broker/Carrier system. Based on reading many reviews, talking to 4 Brokers, and trying to find BBB ratings, it came down to finding a Broker in my area who had a legitimate office location and a BBB rating. Without those criteria, it seemed like throwing complete caution to the wind. It is readily apparent that many Brokers have a cell phone as an office (not that an office means everything) and use low initial rates to convert a lead because it's so competitive. The Broker than posts the job on a national board and waits for an actual carrier to say yes or no. Then you have to be concerned with the carrier's history and legitimacy. Meanwhile, the consumer is totally in the dark and has probably provided a credit card number for a "deposit". In the case of Motor Movers, they did everything they said and the carrier (Sandman) was prompt and professional. Motor Movers BBB accreditation and rating was very important to me because it indicates they try very hard to separate themselves from Brokers who don't care to take the time to be rated. I would definitely use Motor Movers again. I was NOT offered any incentive to write this review.
