Overall had a great experience. It took longer to find a shipper than both I and Matt, the Auto Shipping Group rep, would have liked I think. Almost had a truck about a week after posting, but fell through, and we had to short term rent a van waiting to get this vehicle shipped.

All that said, clearly our oversized sprinter van (with reefer unit) is a tricky vehicle to ship via truck, so it doesn't seem too surprising it took a little longer. Just as I was about to go with a "driveaway" service on my own, Matt found a "driveaway" service for $1,00 less than I was being quoted elsewhere. Great to have Auto Shipping Group come through!

We had also been asked to cut a cashier's check for the final driver payment, but the day of delivery found out the driver would only take cash. Not a big deal, but would have been good to know in advance.

It was my first time ever trying to ship a vehicle across country, much less a specialized/oversized vehicle, and navigating all the different offers/quotes/information and choosing a broker was difficult. Matt and Auto Shipping Group were hugely helpful and responsive, always open to answering any questions.

Yes, what a tough shipment that sprinter van was. Very big, very long, and simply wouldnt fit on my car haulers. I was happy that we were able to find a drive away service for you because it honestly saved you some cash. I was totally unaware of the COD situation and I apologize for the confusion. Regardless it looks like the van made it in good shape and everything was alright with the shipment, glad to hear it.Thanks again.
