My overall experience with AmeriFreight was A++. I have heard many horror stories about auto transporters ranging from poor customer service through gauging prices. Based on these many horror stories I was extremely nervous on selecting the right auto transporter to ship my prized possession (my car)from California to New York. After doing some online research, I selected AmeriFreight because of the many positive reviews. I submitted a quote request and received a prompt reasonable price quote of $1,147 (which included the $200 deposit) via email. Once I received the quote I contacted Jordan who was my AmeriFreight agent for this specific quote. Jordan was amazing. He was honest, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered my questions and eased my concerns. Because I was going on vacation a week after I had called regarding quote, Jordan let me know that it was better to wait until I was back because he knew the bidding process could happen very quickly. I followed his advice and contacted Jordan once I returned from vacation! When I contacted him he put all the paperwork through, explained the payment terms and advised that he would be in contact with me as soon as he received a bid. Literally, as soon as I hung up the phone, in about 5-10 minutes I received an email from Jordan advising that he had a freight carrier that was available to pick up my vehicle. He provided me with clear details on the next steps, informed me about all the documents that needed to be completed, insurance options, what I needed to do with the car to prep for the arrival of the carrier. He also gave me the carrier contact information. In less than an hour the carrier company contacted me and was ready to pick my car up the next day Friday, 7/11/14. The carrier picked up my car on-time. By the 6th day Wednesday, 7/16/14 from the day my car was picked up. Jordan called and advised me that my car would be arriving in the New York area by Thursday, 7/17/14 and someone will be in contact with me by Thursday, 7/17/14 to discuss delivery. He reminded me about the payment terms. Not too long after, I received a call from the carrier that the driver was in the New York area, and my vehicle will be delivered between 6:30am-7:30am on Friday 7/18. On Friday, 7/18/14, my vehicle was delivered by 6:15 am. Everything ran on time and as scheduled. My quote indicated that anticipated delivery was 7/18/14 and my car was delivered by that time as indicated.
I have no complaints regarding my service. It was truly phenomenal and I would definitely recommend Amerifreight and I would use them again if I ever have to in the future.
