Glad the experience is over

After reviewing so many positive reviews I decided to work with AmeriFreight. This was my first time shipping a vehicle across the country. I was under a strict time constraint, and informed Justin of my necessary pick up and delivery times. He was given range of few weeks to work things out. He recommended the additional fee of $150 to have my car picked up on time. He said it would take 1 -3 days for pick up. So after 6 days and no response/update I called to follow up. I started to get a bit desperate because my flight was coming up soon. I was informed it was the busy season and didn't know why my car wasn't being picked up. That part I can understand, but I asked what the additional $150 was for. He said things were out of his control. So I asked him for advice to get this completed and unfortunately he was not very helpful. So I suggested raising the bid another $150 to get the car shipped. So a few days went by again, no response. This time I kept calling to remind them of the urgency of the situation. Every time I spoke with Justin it was like the very first time speaking with him. Ultimately the car was shipped with Motion Auto Carries, for additional $200! Justin told me this was my only option. The car was picked up two days past the time they told me and delivered four days past. The drivers were actually very helpful and pleasing to talk to, but the main office people at Motion Auto were often distracted and abrasive. Just kept repeating "sometime tomorrow morning", whenever I called them back. Overall I am glad the experience if over and I have my car with all four wheels. I never felt informed and at the mercy of the shipping companies. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but the whole process was pretty confusing, stressful, and expensive. There has to be a better way to get things moved.
