Damaged to Car

Car was shipped from south Florida to southern New England and delivered with a cracked oil pan which would have been very difficult to detect unless car was allowed to sit for several hours to allow oil flow out of protective plate under the oil pan, so I unfortunately signed the bill of lading.
I sent DAS photos and complete description of the situation and the repair invoice which was over $1,000.

Had the oil pan been completely ruptured as opposed to only a somewhat slow leak, the engine would have most likely to have been destroyed.

After reporting the problem to DAS, they refused to talk to me. The only "communication" from them was hearing them tell the credit card company they refused the claim.

I will certainly never use "Dependable" Auto Shippers again and have recommended to my friends to do the same.
