I contacted mercury auto transport based on recommendation from the agency I'm with. I spoke to Clarence on June 4 I told him I needed to ship the car June 26, he quote me $900, during our conversation he stated that one week before the ship date he will contact me with carriers information. I did not hear from him so I reached out to him on June 20 via phone call and left voicemail. I received an automated email stating they are working diligently to find a carrier and any updates they will let me know. On Tuesday June 24 I called Clarence numerous times with no callbacks. on Wednesday June 25 I took it a step further and decided to reach out to administration more than once I was transfer to his phone with I was no longer able to leave a voicemail. I finally got in contact with a lady in administration she first said I don't see your vehicle on the dashboard then when she heard the annoyance in my voice she stated he has paperwork for me and she sees he's working on it she'll have him call me back. I explained to her I am flying to Texas early Friday morning, she put me on hold, got in contact with him and assured me he will be contacted me before the end of the day. later on that day I tried calling Clarence, I sent him an email about the situation. Throughout this whole process I am moving from Pennsylvania to New York.
Thursday morning June 26 10am still no phone call or email, I called Clarence all of a sudden he sees the urgency, he's telling me I won't get anyone to ship my car for that price because of toll I would have to drop the car off the Jersey at one point he stated I should take the care to a part of PA that's close to Jersey, he knew I was coming from PA because the first address I gave him was PA, he said I can drop it off at a yard all of these suggestions could not be done until the following week though. He finally said he has to raise the price to $1050 he called me back with a quote of $1100 I said what happened to $1050 he said I told him $1100 because if i said $1050 he could've gotten that price for me. REALLY?!?! Mercury has cost me an extra $200 (which i had to borrow) along with alot of stress and headache. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!

Hi Karine , The 900 quote was a estimate as is every quote you receive . Mercury always tries to bargain for the lowest possible rate with carriers. We charged you a 100.00 broker fee. The 1000 went to the carrier who transferred your vehicle. You agreed to the offer from the driver and signed and sent back the forms. We did our best to get you a reasonable rate out of a remote location in PA. We are happy your car arrived safe, and apologize we did not meet or beat your expectations.
