Terrible and Unreliable

Terrible experience. Booked a transport and the agent told me I needed to give them a 5 day window, I did. I am an airline pilot and unable to always be at home and told Montway that the car HAD to be picked up by day 5 or pickup will be impossible....I was told "no problem". I called on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, and Friday and was repeatedly told my "agent" was on the phone or unavailable. He was ALWAYS available before I gave them my credit card number, now he is miraculously unavailable EVERY time I called. Finally day 5 I told them I would HOLD no matter how long until my agent was available. On the 5th day I was asked to wait "a few more days" because they were working on a truck. Well, They still couldn't give me a definite date or time a week after placing my order. I told them to cancel my order and will find a more professional broker to ship my vehicle. I have shipped 4 vehicles and NEVER had the terrible experience that I did with Montway.

It is imperative that customers have a clear understanding of the terms they accept when entering a contractual agreement. Our terms are publicly published on our website, disclosed prior and during booking, written in the customer agreement and within all communications thereafter. We do not provide a 5 day window. We estimate assigning a carrier within 1 to 5 business days. Even though our estimations are highly accurate, just over 95%, we still inform customers we can only provide estimated dates. We want our customers to be clear on these terms so they can make any necessary personal arrangements. Our goal is to transport your vehicle, never to inconvenience our customers in any way. We do not provide guarantee dates for multiple reasons, reasons which impacts the entire transport industry. Traffic delays, detours, speed limits, weather delays, mandatory rest stops, pickup/delivery client availability delays, weight station check ups, police inspections, truck breakdowns, driver's health issues, are just some of the issues that can not be anticipated. We understand this is potentially inconvenient for customers, so we combat that with information and keeping customers informed. Transporting over 5,000 vehicles a month is a team effort. We do not assign a lone agent to tend to an order. Our company is structured so that multiple agents are working on an order at any given time. There is never a need to wait for any specific agent as all of our agents are fully prepared to assist.
