This was the first time I ever shipped a car. I was definitely nervous about it because there were a number of different components to my move and I was on a fairly tight deadline. I thought Amerifreight did a good job - my only complaint is that I felt like there was a bit of bait and switch. The initial quote was for 975 which was significantly less than any other companies. When I called on the second available pickup date he basically recommending going up over 350 dollars in order to get it moved quickly. I was already mentally prepared for this possibility, but I just wish he hadn't low-balled the initial offer. I also felt like it was difficult to get straight answers to my questions at times. That being said, the truck driver who picked my car up was super reliable and helpful. The car also made it there in 3-4 days so I didn't even have to rent a car when I arrived - it was basically waiting for me. I would use Amerifreight again - I would just recommend doing a lot of research beforehand so as to be well informed about the process.
