Unreliable costumer service from carrier

My contact at ASG was very prompt with updates as the designated pickup day drew near. If I could review Melissa's service on its own, I would give her an excellent review. She was thorough with information and explanations, and she answered my questions with promptness. However, the carrier that was assigned to transport my vehicle provided only the bare minimum of customer service, and even quoted ASG the wrong pickup day with no explanation after I personally had to call the carrier to ask where they were as they had missed the pickup window with no communication. If the carrier - Abraham Express - had only called to tell us they could not make the original day they quoted for pickup, I would have given the entire experience a 5 star review. Instead they actually scoffed at my questions and insisted ASG told me the incorrect day. Horrible customer service from the carrier, which also barely gave us a heads up when they arrived in the city for dropoff. At least it was in the morning and we hadn't left for work yet. The only reason we knew they might arrive that day or the next is because Melissa had contacted the carrier 4 days before and asked for a ballpark day of delivery. The drivers themselves good, and the car arrived even washed which was totally unexpected. I paid almost $400 more than what I was originally quoted, so to be treated rudely by the carrier's dispatch was a big disappointment.
