I was a little apprehensive using a broker rather than directly contracting with a company to ship my car, especially because my move was time critical (as I am in the military). Additionally, I'm a 'car guy' so I really like my car and wanted to be sure it didn't get damaged while being shipped.
Jorge explained the process and 2 days after putting the car out as being available he called me back with an offer by a company to ship it. The dates worked perfectly for my schedule and the cost (including the broker cost) was cheaper than other quotes). Additionally, some shippers cited very long lead times or high costs since the car was coming into California, which has some very strict standards of which trucks it will allow into the state. Jorge found a company that had absolutely no problem with either of these potential issues.
The only negative is that once I got the online quote it took me a few days of calling and emailing to get in touch with someone in order to ask some questions and decide whether I wanted to use AmeriFreight. However, once I did get in touch with Jorge the process was very smooth and removed some stress from what is obviously a very stressful and busy time.
Bottom line: I would definitely use AmeriFreight again and recommend them to others.
