I called Passport Transport to pick up and a 1969 Camaro z28 in Oklahoma and deliver it in Florida. My initial contact was with a representative called Ken. We agreed on a price and I was told by Ken that my car would be picked up on Thursday (I paid $500 extra for the guarantee and I was ok with that) and it was supposed to be delivered on the following Monday since the truck was heading down to a car show in Amelia Island. The enclosed Truck was waiting for me at the dealer where I had inspected the car and then paid for it. Once the car was loaded into the truck, I called Ken to let him know the car was on its way. He then informed me that it was to arrive on Thursday (4 days later), after some discussion, Ken apologized for the confusion and my car was on its way. Through out this whole discussion with Ken, the driver of the truck (James Johnson) calmed things down. He went beyond his responsibility to make sure I felt I was in good hands and that he would do everything possible to to get my car to my house as soon as possible. James called me through out the trip to inform me of his location and he was able to deliver the car on Wednesday, 1 day before its arrival date. Great job, James!
