I chose Autotransport123 because they claimed they WERE NOT A BROKER AND THAT THEY USED THEIR TRUCKS. the quote given would be the amount charged and they had a truck in the area at the time of my call.
Nick, the representative who wrote up my quote, said the car would be picked UP VERY SOON AS LONG AS I HURRIED SO THE TRUCK WOULDN'T FILL UP. My car was WAS WAITING FOR 7 DAYS BEFORE I WAS CALLED WITH A PICK UP TIME. When I called to inquire what was going on, an irritated Jeanine told me that the car could be picked up the next day and there was an additional charge of $50. SHE MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT A "FLEXIBLE FEE" WHICH WAS THE FIRST I HAD EVER HEARD OF THIS.
My car was finally PICKED UP ON THE 19, transported and delivered in the evening OF THE 21ST. By the time I arrived at the pick up location, the driver already had it off the truck. A visual COSMETIC inspection was required (in the dark) AND I SAW NO DAMAGE TO THE EXTERIOR, I SIGNED THE bill of lading AND PAID MY MONEY BEFORE I COULD RECEIVE MY KEYS. Upon driving my car, I noticed that there was a noise not previously there before transportation. By this time, the driver had left. I took the car to BMW to find out that both wheel bearings were crushed. Something I couldn't have seen by just visually inspecting the car. HOWEVER $1100 later, they were fixed AFTER I PAID THE BMW DEALERSHIP.
In speaking with the president of the company, Keith, it was revealed that they in fact did not transport the car but BROKERED out TO EAGLE AUTO TRANSPORT, so he possibly couldn't take responsibility for what someone else had done. While Keith said he would help in trying to solve this matter, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO HELP WITH THE COST OF THE DAMAGES CAUSED DURING TRANSPORT. KIETH HAS BEEN TRYING HOWEVER NOTHING HAS ACTUALLY BEEN DONE.
I DID MY RESEARCH ON THIS COMPANY AND THOUGHT I WAS USING A REPUTABLE COMPANY. I FEEL I WAS NOT GIVEN THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT HOW THEY GO ABOUT DOING BUSINESS AND IN THE END I HAVE HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA $1100 TO HAVE MY CAR IN THE SAME CONDITION BEFORE IT WAS TRANSPORTED. They used a broker, tried to charge more after the CONTRACT WAS SIGNED, timely delivery of my car did not happen and in the process DAMAGED OCCURRED THAT NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR
I TRANSPORTED MY CAR TWO YEARS AGO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY AND EVERYTHING WENT GREAT. SO THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN A COMPLETE SURPRISE IN A NEGATIVE WAY

This review is completely factual. The customer booked on a flex plan. To save $25... The customer then called 1 day into the order demanding a driver. We work with a network carrier Eagle Auto Transport who holds a outstanding record on all review boards and dispatch centers. We have 60 orders in the past 4 years with them and not 1 claimed damage. This customer as he states marked the bill of lading with no damage. After careful review from the driving company, 3 different insurance companies, and BMW all have been rejected to lack of any evidence or actual substance to his story. This holds true with every single company in the world if you can not present any evidence or show proof of damage due to negligence on the part of the carrier no insurance company will validate a claim.. This is a great learning experience for any 1st time shippers to make sure to completely inspect your vehicle before signing off on the Bill of Lading, but Taylor as he states is no first timer.. :)!
