Communication was terrible and the entire experience was like a scam! It started when Malia called me to ask if the trucker had contacted me about pick-up since she had not heard from them. Diesel Auto Express told me they would pick up on Tuesday or I could deliver to them Thursday by noon which we did. The original quoted cost for the two vehicles to Newnan, GA was $2,050 - $350. up front to Auto Shipping Group and $1,700 to Diesel Auto Express upon arrival. I mentioned to her it may need to go to Columbus (75 miles south) because the ETA was 2 days before I would arrive to receive the cars. She said the price would not change if it was within 100 miles of the original destination. She then called me back to say the trucker wanted another $150.00 to deliver to Columbus which I reluctantly agreed to. There was no further communication until the day before the ETA (Thursday) when I called to check on the delivery. She then told me it would be the middle of the next week so I told her to have them deliver to the original destination of Newnan at the original quoted cost. She then told me it would be the original cost plus $100.00 for re-routing. They had my cars I had no choice. I called Malia on the following Monday to check on the status and she said she would check with the trucker and call me back in 1 hour. I did not hear from her so I called her back on Tuesday and she apologized for not calling back but said she forgot and was "only human". I began calling the trucking company myself and finally was told the delivery would happen late Wednesday or Thursday morning. After several calls to dispatch and the trucker he said he wanted to delivery between 6 and 7 Thursday morning. I texted him and said I would meet him at 8 and he agreed. He then called at 6:20AM and said he would be there in 30 minutes. When I said I would be there at 8 he said he "was not playing games" and he would be there in 30 minutes to deliver. The delivery was made at 7AM on Thursday, in the dark. I had my original cashier's check for $1,850 and of course, the driver had no cash to make change. Finally, TAKE HEED - DONT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR. They emptied my loose change holder (about $10.00) and stole a Leatherman. I will never contact Auto Shipping Group or Diesel Auto Express again.

MALIA 360-853-2806 **SIX YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH CASCADE VEHICLE SHIPPING** Craig, I am sorry you were confused about the process of vehicle shipping and I am surprised you claim I didn't keep in contact with you. I have no control over the carrier, his schedule, his route, the rates or his delivery times so all I can do is relay the information the carrier gives me to my customers.
