This was my first experience transporting a car across country. After reading a number of customer reviews of auto transport brokers, I chose AmeriFreight based on the consistently excellent reports. That was a good decision! From start to finish, my contact person and her assistant communicated promptly both by email and phone. All my questions were answered right away. My car was picked up on the first day available.
The transport company's driver also communicated by phone and text message regarding his arrival times. The office staff were also available by phone and assisted in confirming the delivery plan. The one surprise was that my car arrived at the destination several days before the estimated arrival date. Fortunately, I had a backup plan in place and my friend received my car. In cases like mine, when you are also traveling to the destination, I highly recommend making backup arrangements in the event that your car arrives ahead of you. Scheduling must be flexible and the travel time is affected by the route and number of stops the driver makes along the way. In other words, a cross country transport may not take the estimated 7-10 days.
