Difficult destination, but they stuck with me until the job was done

From the time I decided to go with Amerifreight, my agent Jessica was with me every step of the way. There weren't very many carriers that wanted to come to my area during the snowy season. I would have rathered go someplace warm myself! My delivery date was left open because I didn't need my vehicle right away. Jennifer would call or email every so often to let me know they are still looking for a carrier for me. It felt good to know that even though I wan't in a hurry, they were still trying to get me a carrier.
There were two factors for me that made me choose Amerifreight. First was that they didn't take any money until they had a carrier locked-in to take my vehicle. This made me feel more comfortable knowing that they wouldn't get paid unless they found em a driver. Second was the written quote they supplied. Understandably, the price could increase some depending on route, gas prices, etc, but it gave a good reference point as to how much it was going to cost. This was important to me because I did my research on the internet and read the horror story reviews of people paying much more than they thought they would.
In the end, I elected to pay more to get my van shipped. I could have waited until the weather warmed-up a bit and the roads were easier to travel on. Then I would have gotten a carrier to do it within the originally quoted price, but I was anxious to get my car here and get back to my regular routines.
I move every 3-4 years and I'll be calling them back when its time to move again.
