Amerifreight was good at explaining things and allaying my concerns in the begining which is why I selected them over direct carriers or other brokers. Then they chose Carewell Transport Inc to deliver my two cars from NJ to CA and that's when things tuned into a nightmare. The driver (George) from the carrier was a complete liar. Having him pickup the vehicles was a fiasco since he could barely speak english and couldn't find the pickup location, initially being 2 hours away because he drove to morrestown instead of morristown in NJ. My family had to drive to a major highway the next day to direct him in since he couldn't use a gps or map.

They broke the rear window of my Lincoln, then they tried to have it repaired behind my back before delivery(the glass repair shop corroberated that story). I called the driver and he said he had a flat tire. 30 minutes later I get a call from Amerifreight saying they broke my window and would deduct $500 from the carriers delivery fee. During that call, I could hear Jessica's manager feeding her answers to my questions in the background. They need to work on that and they could have just put the guy on the phone. I had to replace it with a used windsheild as a new one was in excess of that amount.

Lastly, when telling the driver that I didn't want to waive any rights by signing the bill of lading in case of other damages I couldn't see as it was delivered at night and dirty, he threatened to put the cars back up on the truck. That's the nightmare I was trying to avoid in the first place. I'm just glad it's over. Next time I'll go direct to a carrier and chalk up my lost time and money to a lesson learned.
