This is my first attempt at not only purchasing a soon to be classic vehicle, but transporting it as well. I hadn't the first clue of where to look, what costs would be, or how reputable the company I would end up choosing would be.

The private seller of the truck I now proudly own suggested the company he had used when he purchased this truck, Passport Transport. I looked them up online, read their history on their webpage and I immediately saw the professionalism on the site and after a phone call with Mr. John Scharff, I felt I had found my company.

Mr. Scharff was courteous, prompt, and extremely helpful over the phone and through e-mails explaining that I'd also get a tracking number for my vehicle so that I may view at anypoint where the truck is. I got a quote fast and it was respectable and comparable with other companies. But what really sold me was the customer service that I was receiving and the history behind the company.

When the truck was within 3 hours of me, Mark, the driver called me and asked me if he'd be able to drop off the truck shortly. With excitement in my voice I answered, absolutely! I was shocked that it was a day early even though I was eagerly watching my provided tracking number. Mark pulled up and even though it was -20 below outside and windy, he seemed very upbeat and ready to work. After we put on our mittens I aided him in unloading by spotting and throwing down some salt for traction as he had to move a car first to get to my truck and in 15 minutes we were done!
Mark was extremely kind and after the trailer was all locked up and before Mark was ready to go back on the road, before he got into his cab he looked me in the eye, firmly shook my hand and with a smile said that he really hopes that I enjoy my new truck!
