WORST PEOPLE in the business

I try not to give bad reviews because every service providing company can have a bad day or bad employee who could ruin their reputation. BUT THIS IS TRULY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD DEALING WITH ANY COMPANY. Also, THEY HAVE MY MONEY that they will NOT refund even after I have it IN WRITING from them that they will if the car does not get picked up.

I had paid the deposit for my mother's car to be picked up in JUNE 2013 and the car was NEVER Picked up. Literally every otherday in the months of June and July 2013 I had to wait on hold several minutes to be able to speak to someone who always promised to return my call but NEVER did. I am not exaggerating, NOT ONCE did I get a call from them with an update. The cycle was never ending and the CAR was NEVER PICKED UP. It got so frustrating that we ended us using another shipping company to move my mother's car from NewJersey to Florida (who btw promptly picked up the car and delivered it on time).

I have email chains and IN WRITING that the they "got the email... accounting department will take care of it...". We are now in FEB2014 and I STILL do not have the refund.

JANETTE, who is apparently the manager, was reasonable with me when I first contacted her asking about the refund. She sounded genuine at first saying she will look into it and would get back to me "by Monday Morning" with an update, but she ended up doing exactly what her peers did back in JUNE2013 and NEVER returned my call. When I called back earlier today asking for an update, the conversation went all over the place. She recommended that I simply contact my credit card company and ask for a refund. I don't see how that is fair to my card company when NATIONAL DEALER TRANSPORT INC. is who took my money. I have a conscience and will not let my credit card company pay me for what is clearly this transportation companies fault.

They are also denying the fact that they knew that the car was never picked up. I have copies of email that we had sent to them AND THEIR RESPONSE IN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and that they will RETURN MY MONEY LIKE PROMISED ON THE PHONE.

More than the money, IT IS A MATTER OF PRINCIPLE to me now. Not only are they inefficient people, they also treat their customers with extreme lack of respect. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.
