Because we live in a town not near a major highway we had to agree to meet the driver in a city close to their route. Also, the original price quoted when we were first contacted was $895.00. This price was based on the ability of Amerifreight to find a driver who had a recent cancellation or room on a truck and would take the car at a discounted price. This did not happen and we had to pay the full price. Our contact person was honest about this possibility during our first phone call. After a week Airfreight contacted us to say they could not find a truck at the quoted price and we had the option to continue to wait, cancel or order or agree to pay the full price. We had to choose the latter in order to get our car out to Colorado. Once we agreed to the change in rate they found a driver within 2 hours. The pick up and delivery went fine and the car was delivered with no damage.
