Got The Vehicle and That's All That Really Matters

I want to start out by saying the shipping agent, Jorge Cruz, was extremely helpful and thorough. Did exactly what he said he would do and was there to answer my questions via phone or email when needed. Jorge actually stayed a little after his shift just to return my call so that was really thoughtful and much appreciated. Based on a customer service standpoint, I couldn't ask for any better. Basically, if I had a question, Jorge would answer it. That being set aside, I was given a name and number to track my vehicle, but it turned out to be the wrong person and number. I kept calling and didn't realize it until I called Jorge. However, after that realization and given the real contact information to track my vehicle, no big deal.
The only downside was the truck driver. He was a little tense and intimidating. The person I designated at the meeting for the pickup said the truck driver didn't seem friendly at all, but still did his job without causing any trouble. When I called the truck driver, it was really hard to understand him because of the accent. He sounds like he's just pissed off and shouting at all times. I had no clue what he was really saying. Thank goodness for technology. The truck driver was able to text me the address to the designated location for pickup. I didn't understand why he had my friend (who I asked to pick up the car) unload my car off the truck. I'm not sure but that doesn't seem like normal procedure. Another thing I didn't like was the fact that the truck driver didn't call at least 30 minutes to an hour ahead just to notify me that he's getting near. That way in case things change last minute, arrangements can be accommodated.
Overall, I wouldn't mind using Amerifreight again. Putting up with the truck drivers isn't too big a deal. All that really matters is you get your car in one piece and with no damage.
