I had Freight Center pick up freight for me to be delivered in another state. I sent them descriptions of the freight and even included photos. Freight Center assigned a " class code" to the freight I was having them ship. The freight delivered (late) and then three weeks after delivery, Freight Center bills me an additional $900 dollars because they used the wrong classification code with the trucking company. Trying to find out what the "correct" classification code was impossible. ( I got told three different classifications) It would seem that freight center doesn't know their job (acting as a broker, it is THEIR responsibility to put the proper classifications on the freight being shipped) and when they make a mistake, they make their customers pay for it. I would not recommend using them.
