Overall, I'm not sure how I felt about the entire process. The customer service throughout the 3 weeks was good as Bob was always very nice and stressed how he was trying to find a truck to pick up my car. However the availability started August 31st and was not picked up until September 26th. As I started work the 16th and my job requires a car, it became very stressful. I started off with the economy package which my boyfriend had used to ship his car from Atlanta, GA and had no problem getting it picked up within the 5 day window. I went from economy with a pickup location in CT, to economy with a pickup location ANYWHERE in CT, to a priority package in CT, to a priority package to ANYWHERE in CT, Boston, NY and New Jersey as I was desperate to ship my car at this point and needed it in California. I was definitely flexible in doing the most to get my car picked up and was quite concerned that it was not even on a truck yet. It turns out on the 19th I got a call from AmeriFreight saying they had a driver but he wanted MORE money than the priority package truckers pay which is a hefty amount more than economy but at this point I was going to pay anything to get my car out here as it was almost a month late. Therefore, I finally got my car on the 26th around 8:30PM when the car window drop-off was from 2-6PM. Granted there was nothing wrong with my car upon delivery and everything I had packed into it was still there. Therefore other than the major delay in the beginning of shipping the car, the time the car spent on the actual truck and condition it was delivered in was very good. I just wish I could have had it the first week of September as originally anticipated rather than 2 weeks late.
