I was reeled in with a low price quote and contracted with Boca to move my truck from California to Texas, my account was instantly hit for $150,(deposit) before anything was done.
started at $850, went up to $1300, and at this, they were going to only get my truck to within 180 miles of me, so I was to drive there to get it..then the contracted shipper(All American Auto Transport),that Boca assigned, backed out of the move and I had to file a claim to recoup my $150 deposit. I would stay clear of this company, they are out for the deposits not the service..!!!

Dale, This is a very different tone than the one you had when you spoke to the manager from the documented notes, emails, and recorded conversations. It is true that the order did not go anywhere as smooth as it should have. That fault we accept full responsibility for. The vehicle was dispatched to a carrier who was to pick the vehicle up and deliver to Carrollton where your daughter is located. We have the documentation from both ends of it (yourself and the carrier) and we are stuck in the middle. The carrier says that your pick up contact did not answer the phone to confirm the truck to show up and that the option for Monday was still available they just did not want to risk a dry run (meaning wasting time and gas) to go to a secluded location if there was no vehicle to get. The truck was leaving out of their yard on Monday. Your pick up contact apparently works evenings and when they called repeatedly it was unable to confirm that someone would be there and they cancelled. You are saying that Chris tried to contact them and they would not answer. This particular argument is between yourself and the carrier. As far as the childish title that you want to place on the company you do have the right to free speech so I will not comment on it any further than recorded conversations, logged working hours, carrier correspondence, dispatch notice emails, and update emails do not lie. Aside from your anger and dissatisfaction with the company the manager still refunded part of your deposit back for you in good faith to compensate some of the grief from the carrier after our job of scheduling and dispatching the vehicle was done. You state you filed a claim so does that mean you are not only accepting the refund in partial but also seeking the full amount of the deposit from the bank for a total of a deposit and a half of another? Good faith does not goes as far as it used to it seems. Either way we at Boca Transport wish you the best and are glad you found someone to move the vehicle for you. Best of luck to you in the future and have a great day.
