It's my first time for shipping a car. I got quotes from several companies, and AmeriFreight was the cheapest, so I selected it.

But the price was not the final price, it looked they suggested some dumped price, and they increased it according to the market value at the final stage. I didn't get any contact for a week about the schedule after I paid deposit. After a week, I got a call that we have a trailer but the price is $150 higher. The final price is similar to other carriers' quote price. I don't know if it is kinda normal way in this business.

Although they are saying it's not their responsible but carrier's response, my car was picked up 2 days later than original schedule, and was delivered 5 days late. Fortunately, the car is delivered at the destination anyway without any damage.
