Car Shipped Successfully, Poor Customer Service after Placing Order

Amerifreight successfully found a carrier on relatively short notice. The carrier was respectful and on time, and I think the price was reasonable ($950 from Mass to Florida) for the good carrier service and the timeframe. I appreciated not having to pay a deposit until they secured a carrier.

Customer service was initially very good. Jorge was knowledgeable about the process, let me know that the probability of securing a carrier in my timeframe at the estimated price (which ended up going up $55, but not a big deal) wasn't a sure thing, etc. However, once I confirmed my order, I was unable to reach him for days, which was problematic because I needed my car to ship the following week. I did not hear from him for approximately 4-5 days, despite repeated emails and phone calls, and I had to call other people at Amerifreight to help. I was very worried that my car would not be able to ship. I think I heard back from him the following week when he said he found a carrier, but even after that I was unable to reach him by phone or email most of the day.

Ultimately, Amerfreight got the job done at a price I could afford and in the timeframe I requested. If it weren't for those several days when I was completely in the dark as to what was happening, this would be a five-star review.
