Service by AmeriFreight and the selected carrier was good. I found AmeriFreight (AF) by Internet search and asked for a quote from them and another company. Both sent a prompt quote, but the other company followed with emails and even a phone call. I chose AF because they did NOT use those annoying tactics to make a sale. AF found a carrier quickly and car pickup was the 3rd day after first availability. It would have been the 2nd day, but I requested an extra day for my convenience. The transport driver was courteous and professional at pickup and also at delivery. This was my first experience with shipping a car, and I would recommend AF again. My only criticism is that there was insufficient explanation of how the whole process worked, from initial deposit to carrier selection to coordination with the carrier for pickup. Being new to this service, I did not understand all the moving parts that make it work.
