My experience with Ship a Car Direct was exceptional. Matt helped me through every step with a positive attitude and useful information. We even had a nice conversation.

Prior to finding Ship a Car Direct, I had applied for price quotes through a site that finds the lowest bid for you. After requesting a quote, I received no less than 10 calls a day from other shipping companies. The sleaziness in the auto transport business is truly unbelievable. Ship a Car Direct was not even close to sleazy. Dare I say, the experience was actually rather pleasant!

The only hiccup in the whole process was the pick-up of my car. The driver (from EBS Express Inc.) was 3 hours late. I ended up waiting for him in a parking lot 2 miles from my apartment for an hour and then had to meet him a mile away from there because he couldn't get over one of Chicago's skinny bridges. Not his fault, but of course it had to be raining and he had to be parked far from any convenient public transit (but that's life). If this had happened on the other end, it would have been far more complicated. I would definitely recommend having someone on call to follow you in a car or arrange for a taxi if you live in a place with skinny streets and limited public transportation.

I was super impressed with the speed of the delivery. My car left Chicago Saturday afternoon and arrived in Los Angeles Tuesday morning. The driver said he'd actually planned to be there Monday evening, but there was a storm in Arizona. Good thing I got to LA before the car did!

Overall, my experience was pretty great. My car arrived in the same condition it left in. The driver made sure to call me the day before pick-up/drop-off to arrange a time and sent text updates if the time or location changed. Matt made sure to call at every step in the process and had answers to all my questions. I would definitely use this company again.

Thanks for your great feedback, Chloe! Sorry your driver's arrival estimate was off - we also recommend having a back-up plan and wiggle room on both ends of arrival.
