At first I was impressed with Michael, and getting back to be quickly at a fair price for the transport. I told him I was flexible on the pickup (I had about 4 weeks of time before needing it there) but needed my car out there by a certain date and was that it wouldn't be a problem. A few days later he contacted me saying he had a truck ready for a pickup Wednesday (it was Monday night when he contacted me). I told him I couldn't do that, since it was nearly 3 1/2 weeks before needing it out there and less then 36 hours to get stuff ready. He said it was no problem.

I then get to the week prior to my car needing to get out to my destination. I was contacted saying Monday I would have it picked up (Which would be perfect timing). he did mention though that the original price I was quoted was going up $50 for some reason which made no sense. The trucking company contacts me saying they will be around that day to pick it up. So I make sure to take off work to be around during the time they arrange. The time comes and goes, and contact the company and they said they had a truck problem. Ok then.....they say tomorrow they will get it. Again another day off work. It is about an hour before the time frame they tell me, when Michael calls. He says that company is no longer able to get my car. He said he would work on getting another company.

I waited that night and called the next day not hearing from Michael (until I told him I was canceling due to the time frame) so I had to change my plans to get my car out there in time another way.

After two days taken off work and an extra charge I was quite disappointed in this service. The trucking company having problems may have been out of Michael's control, but a customer should not suffer because of that. Brokers should know what trucking companies to trust and are reliable.

After discussing the situation and issues, I was able to get a refund from what I was charged by the broker, Michael.

After further investigation I noticed that Michael DiBenedetto has been involved in other transport companies including: "Envision Auto Relocations" and "Target Auto Transport"

Which you can see here have terrible reviews:
http://www.transportreviews.com/company/target-auto-transport.asp
http://www.yelp.com/biz/envision-auto-relocations-boca-raton

Also interesting they have reviews the first day they are listed on this site. I would be skeptical after reading other reviews.

Brian, I really cannot believe you left me negative feedback. I truly did my best for sir and provided great customer service from start to finish for you. The fact that the driver had a mechanical issue is out of anyone's control. As you state here in your review and I quote... The trucking company having problems may have been out of Michael's control, but a customer should not suffer because of that. Brokers should know what trucking companies to trust and are reliable. The carrier I selected is very reliable and I do completely trust them as I welcome anyone to contact them. They have a 100% rating since being a member of CentralDispatch.com and have been in business since 2001. I fully stand behind my decision to hire them as I have listed their information here for everyone to view. White Slope Inc. Jerzy Perkowski (847) 878-8626 Carrier 8830 N Elmore St Niles, IL 60714 Mr. Brian Baiocchi signed a contract with me for a 1st available scheduled pick up date of of the 7/29. I was understanding it was ready to go the next truck as the contracted stated so I booked a truck with 16 hours of him placing an order. I sent email confirm to Brian and he replied that it was too soon as he states is his review and moved back the date to his requested 1st available pick up date 8/15. Brian states in an email which I will provide a copy of below that he is will to give me a window from 8/15-8/23 to have his vehicle picked up yet he canceled his order on 8/21 roughly about noon when I full well could of had another truck booked within 24 hours top and was still very confident I would have this situation corrected very quickly as I assure Brian over the phone right after I find out about the breakdown. Brian also complains about hearing from the driver about the breakdown and not me, I think it is clear that the driver would be first to know and the fact he contacted the customer to let him know is what should of happened. The driver also would of been repaired within 24-36 hours and could of had the vehicle picked up by Friday 8/23 at the latest still within Brian's given window of 8/15-8/23 yet he decided to cancel. I told Brian I was very sorry about the issue with truck the fact he was going to have to change his plans. Brian is dissatisfied about the fact he took off work which I never recommend to any of my customers because my #1 goal is my customers convenience and we ALWAYS work out a time that works for them. Brian I am still very sorry that you were inconvenienced in regards to work. Brain mentioned a $50 dollar increase and states "he did mention though that the original price I was quoted was going up $50 for some reason which made no sense". The $50 increase was due to the fact that diesel fuel had gone up in the 2.5 weeks since Brian moved back his 1st available pick up date to 8/15. I clearly stated this in an email that I will provide below. Brian fails to mention 2 things about this $50 increase, 1) That I offered up $25 of my $90 deposit which minimal as is for the industry as is to split the difference and I would of taken the full $50 from my deposit if needed to get the job done! and 2) He agreed to the price no issue or questioning. Also I challenge you the reader of this review to find another broker in this business that will take money from their pocket to get the job done most will raise the price as you read that all over this site. When Brian states he does not hear from me in the middle of his review is nonsense because I was in contact thoroughly from start to finish and the last email we left off on was " please let me know when you have an update", well I'm sorry I didn't have an update but that is no reason for you Brian to paint my customer service in a bad light. I gave Brian a full refund with no issue of my already reduced deposit of $65 which I did not have to do per the terms of the contract he signed and further more he should really have been billed twice for $90 as he vehicle was not ready for pick up on the original contracted dates. Again this is something most brokers wouldn't have done with a signed contract but I wanted to right by Brian and what do I get? This review! You mention "After further investigation" you find Target Auto Transport (which has 2 total reviews) is a company I was involved with that control was lost of my Jtracker system (housing all orders and information) for sometime and could not service any orders and it was a complicated situation. Envision Auto Relocations is a company I worked for with Mr. John Andrews and has one of thee most reputable profiles on this site and I welcome anyone to view their profile here http://transportreviews.com/company/envision-auto-relocations-inc.asp . Please take a look and you will see at least 50 reviews with very happy customers. John Andrews 561.210.7790 will also speak about what type of service I provided and how seriously I take my work/orders. You conclude your review with saying "Also interesting they have reviews the first day they are listed on this site. I would be skeptical after reading other reviews." Who are you to question the legitimacy of my reviews and company Brain? Your profile is created if you do not at least have a review before the 1st review is left like most review site sir! Please review this TR.com requirements here.. http://transportreviews.com/About/AboutReviews.asp In the end Brian I am sincerely sorry about your inconvenience but I think this review is a little harsh considering the only issue you had was a 2.5 day delay on pick when I would of still be able to service your order within the requested dates. We are dealing with mechanical parts and it is a realistic possible there are problems maybe 1 out 50 transports I would say reasonably that there are breakdowns which I will mention to any customer. I really try to give every customer realistic expectations but it seems I failed to meet yours sadly. Michael DiBenedetto 561-237-5059 Priority Auto Relocations info@priorityautorelocations.com Hello Michael, That works. $790 total for a $725 COD. Thank you for the heads up on that. This is has something to do with the fact gas has went since we booked the order on 7/31. I want to find a solution that makes you happy and I am wondering if this works.. If I take $25 from my deposit and you could match that extra $25 on your end that makes up the difference to bring the total from $765 to $790. Please let me know your thoughts. > > Best regards, > > Michael DiBenedetto > 561-237-5059 > Priority Auto Relocations > info@priorityautorelocations.com Hi Michael Just wanted to confirm with the car being able to be picked up between the 15-23 of August.
