We'd never arranged car transport before. After hiring another company to do this transport, and having promised pick up dates go by without any action, we had resigned ourselves to figuring out how to move the car ourselves. I sent out a couple of additional inquiries to transport companies for one last shot without much hope, but I got an email the next day from Greg Stevens at Progressive saying he could have the car picked up that day and delivered in two days. I thought this was probably bull, but a phone call to Greg made it clear he was serious.
And it all happened just how and when Greg promised it would! The car was picked up that afternoon, and I heard it was delivered in good condition two days later!
We kept hearing that this not a "popular" route, and that we should expect it to take 7-10 days for anyone to find a carrier for us (I'd heard that earlier that same morning from another broker), but Greg clearly had the connections to make this happen.
I know who to call now if I need to do this again. Thanks, Greg.
