I received quotes from a number of shippers and then selected Pristine. They were not the lowest but I felt comfortable which was a big mistake. The quote was $625.00. Carla Wilder sent me a contract to sign, which I suggest you never sign. When I talked to Monique I said I would not agree to the Terms and Conditions which basically says all prices can change and you are stuck. She said cross out objections and sign which I did. They then billed my credit card for $200.00.
The car was picked up 3 days early and delivery scheduled. The transporter called and said to have $625.00 available in cash or certified funds. I told them the balance was $425.00 but was told if I did not have $625 for driver the car would be put in storage at my expense so I paid.
I called Pristine and reminded them that the Terms and Conditions were modified and asked for a refund which they eventually agreed to. Ten days later I have not received the refund. If you call you get a recorder and if you do reach someone they say they will look into it and call back in 15 minutes but they never do.
There are reputable companies out there but Pristine Auto Transport is one to stay away from.
