Super pleasant on the phone. Not cheapest and at first not the most expensive.....BUT then the other shoe drops.....

Here's what they do: they give you a "firm" quote and assure you of the pick up day with in a two day period. In our case it was a pick up one car drop at destination and at that time pick up another vehicle at that location and ship back. (ya think they would like that) They waited and waited to let me know when the pick up day would actually be and then - ya you got it - the price went up $175/car PLUS, YES, PLUS then they add their fees ($150).....I asked why they didn't tell me there were additional fees when I SPECIFICALLY asked them if there were any other fees (they said no) on initial call and was told "that's how it works - everyone does it this way" I went from $1000.00 to $1500.00.

Their problem of not getting away with this is because, you see, I'm shipping two vehicles. They figure they can ding ya the extra $250. and what are you going to do? Gotta get it shipped right? Oh man I'll never do this again but I gotta do it this time............well with the two cars I don't have an extra $500. If they had been honest and forthcoming right away, well honestly I don't know what I would have done. But the $1000 was a hard decision so the $1500.

Was it fair to do this? I have owned my own small business for 30 years. I would never have got away with this kind of bait & switch and stayed in business.

YOU DECIDE WHO TO USE. But I would deal direct with the carrier and NOT REPEAT NOT a broker.
