It always starts out sounding good, but it's not. DO NOT prepay anyone for shipping! I was the purchaser of a vehicle from another state. I had shopped around, but started to get the same story (cost, coverage, schedule), so I got what sounded like a good outfit with SBS (said not to be a broker - lie). Max sounded good to start, like he knew his business and what I wanted. The big lie was his saying that he was not a broker. I should have known when they sent the contract for signature. After I committed, it started to fall apart. They couldn't get a truck to commit to a pick-up date and were vague (at best!) and I had to call them. They may have done some work locating a potential trucker, but at first they came back with an "open" truck when I'd contracted for an "enclosed" truck. They could get an enclosed truck "asap", but for extra cost. I said "no". More delay and finally a trucker who could do it, but it stretched to over a week while that trucker filled up the rest of his load. Now SBS was out of the picture (i.e. no value). The trucker gave target pickup dates that slipped by multiple times (3?). I had to call him to be sure the seller of the truck was kept in the loop. There was probably an extra pickup and delivery for the driver along the way, so even his original estimate of 7 days transit took more than 10. It finally made it, in undamaged condition, just very dirty, having been un/reloaded a number of times. The real problem is that I had No control or recourse (penalty) over their performance. I didn't like that Max said they weren't a broker whn they were. I thought they'd have direct control over the trucker. Oh, they offered a prepaid Walmart gift card ($'s unknown) if I'd write a non-compensated 5 star review. That should tell you something. I'm not for sale!!
