This summer I moved from my long-time home of Pennsylvania to California. Less than a year ago I had bought a new Toyota Prius and of course I really wanted to have my new car with me in California. The problem loomed: how to get my car to California.
I am a 73 year old widow with a bad back so driving across the country was completely out of the question. I researched numerous possibilities and got estimates from various companies. Noting the ranking and reviews I was impressed by AmeriFreight. Bob Turner of AmeriFreight was most helpful in explaining the whole process. Since I did not have a deadline for the date the car would be needed in California I opted for the economy class. Then, learning my daughter visiting in California would need the car I changed at the last minute for a quicker option. No problem; Bob quickly found a carrier for a few hundred dollars more.
I had some worries and fears about this move which was so important to me, but the Prius
arrived in good time and in good condition (although quite dirty from the trip). I had taken out the AFta insurance but didn’t need it. I would recommend Amerifreight to anyone.
