As good as one can expect for auto shipping

While Graham was very responsive, generally, concerning the process, it is disconcerting that we can give a "first date of availability" but there is no effective "last date of pick up". For someone who needs to move, it is generally good to have a narrow window in which the car will be picked up; apparently that is not how it is done. Furthermore, the actual charge was $150 more than we were originally quoted, and of course we were asked for that additional money at the time when we needed the car to be shipped and did not have the time to search for an alternative shipper, so we had no other options. If this is what is typically done, then Amerifreight should just ask for more money at the beginning, to be completely honest up front. Otherwise, the car was delivered about as close to the ideal date as we could have requested, and intact, so all's well that ends well...
