Honda Accord from FL to TX

I transported a 2011 Honda Accord from South FL to the DFW Texas area through Transport Connection. Bill worked dilligently to find me a carrier in a very short time frame at a reasonable cost.

The car was picked up on time by the assigned carrier (Triple Z Logistics Inc) but was delivered one day later than promised. The late delivery was no big deal to me. However, the car was damaged in transit. The windscreen above the moon roof has been cracked in half and partially pulled back from the body of the vehicle. The driver indicated this was caused by having to load the car in the trailer backwards in the top front position exposing the back (open side) of the windscreen to constant wind at an angle that pushed it up and out. The driver, at first, claimed no accountabiliyt but I negotiated a reduced transport fee. However, the cost of repair was higher than the savings I negotiated. In addition to the damage, the car had 1/4 tank of gas when it was picked up but was completely empty when it was delivered. I can only speculate what happened to the fuel between FL and TX.

In general, I give the broker (Transport Connection) high marks for customer service for the quck turnaround and the carrier (Tripple Z Logistics) low marks for execution.
