AMERIFREIGHT lived up to their reviews.

I was responsible to arrange transportation for three antique autmobile owner's wishing transport service for their cars upon completion of the 3,000 plus mile 2013 Lincoln Highway Centenial Tour. The three of us would leave Virginia, drive our old cars to New York City and then continue on the original Lincoln Highway from New York City to San Francisco, where we wished to have a carrier pick up our cars and return them to Virginia. The timing forpicking up the cars in California was critical as we had airline reservations and I didn't wish to be hanging around San Francisco (paying $250 plus per day) waiting for a carrier to show up.

I reviewed over twenty-five brokerages on the internet and was completely confused as to who was good or bad. The comments on most the brokers were primarily from people who had bad experoences and only a few good experiences. Then I came across AMERIFRIEGHT. Never had I seen so many recent good experiences for any other broker. I asked myself, are these guys really that good or is this a farce?

My representative was Jorge at AMERIFIEGHT. He's a busy person and I needed to try three times to reach him. He treated me professionally and understoof my needs. I thought that my tight schedule would result in their most expensive price. Jorge said, "lets try the leaser expensive priced package first and see if we can get a resonse to it, if not we will raise the offer until we get a carrier". My antique auto conhorts were skeptical, but I had a good feeling talking to Jorge so we agreed.

When we arrived in San Francisco Jorge told me he hadn't received a carrier yet and if I needed the cars to be picked up on our date he'd contact some of the companies he had worked with in the past. He called me back and had found one but needed to increased our original bid price from $1000/car to $1,267/car. The inportant part to me was he had a carrier that would meet our pick-up date. Since that price was still within my budget I confirmed the new price.

Our carriercalled within two hours and had agreed to the pick-up date when contacted me. He called again said he had his truck in for maintenace prior and would need an extra day in the shop to obtain a necessary part for the maintenance. He said He would be able to pick up our cars the following day - which he did. Eight days later the carrier delivered our cars, without incident or damage, to Virginia.

Both AMERIFRIEGHT and the driver were professional and courtious. Communications with both parties was timely and honest. Being the owner of several cars I know that sometimes these maintenance things occcur. The important thing is that this Lincoln Highway Centenial Tour was completed, the old cars were safely home in their garages, and this tour had been a happy experience for all of us. I can highly recommend AMERIFREIGHT to any of my antique car owner friends.
