I did not know how to choose a carrier or broker for my shipment. I chose door to door because their quote was in the midrange of the quotes I received, and on speaking to Anthony, he indicated the price was higher, because it would cost more to get it to where I live, in the desert north of LA. The original quote was 1350, 150 fee, 1200 to driver. I was told that pick up should happen 5 to 10 days after I agreed to the quote.

I faxed the contract back, and heard nothing for6 days. I emailed and anthony said he was waiting for a driver to sign the paperwork.. 5 days later, still no response, another inquiry from me, but no email response. I then called, and was told by loretta, that I would need to increase my cost to 1400, but the entire cost would be paid to driver, no broker fee to door to door.

This is my major complaint. I selected them because they indicated an awareness of difficulty in getting a car delivered to my town, that the price they offered was what they thought a driver would take. They also were not proactive in alerting me to the delay or that they had lowballed the quote.

Once I agreed to pay1400, magically a truck was found within the hour, and the car picked up three days later on monday, delivered on saturday. Car was dirty but undamaged, no stains on the ragtop.

If I lived in LA, this probably wouldn't have been an issue. But they could have kept me informed when they weren't going to hold up to their quote or their timelines.
