Bob was the broker and he did his best to negotiate the lowest cost for me. I ended up having to pay a bit more, but my car arrived safe & sounds, which is what was most important to me. I kept trying to keep my total cost down, so Bob ended up lowering his deposit amount to help me out. Initially, it was hard to connect with Bob, but after we connected by phone, he was readily available for any questions or concerns.
I was not in a rush to have my car delivered, which helped with the pricing. My car was picked up a little over 2.5 weeks after I left. Denis was the driver and he was available for pick earlier than scheduled, but he was extremely understandable and patient. Thank you Denis!!! He waited for my brother to load a few items into the car, I really appreciated that. Also, I was able to call him to check on my car, if he did not pick up, Denis returned the call and let me know what his driving progress was. This helped me feel at ease with the transport of my vehicle.
On the day of delivery Denis, drove the trailer to where I was at to deliver my car. Although I had to pay cash, Denis compromised and accepted a check for the amount of cash I was not able to withdraw from the ATM, again this is just another example of the great customer service the driver offered. When I need to ship my car back to DC, I will definitely use Amerifreight.
