Jorge was very good at explaining the shipping process and how the system works. Throughout my whole experience, he was pleasant, helpful, and supportive (especially when problems arose with the carrier).
My only critique of Amerifreight was that I placed the order about 2 weeks before my desired pick up date range but did not find a carrier until pretty much the last possible moment. Apparently, it was difficult to move cars out of SC, but I wish that I was told this information or that they'd but my bid out earlier than the customary 1wk before the pick up.
I highly commend Jorge for trying to find me a carrier and for even taking a cut out of his broker's fee to put towards my bid price! I also really appreciated him sticking with me even after he found a carrier. When problems arose with the carrier (my car sat unmoved for 2wks), Jorge did not hesitate to immediately make phone calls and find out what was going on. He continued to give me updates until my car arrived and helped me to get a discount from the carrier for being atrociously late (cost posted is before discount). It was nice to know that Jorge (& Amerifreight) did not just wash their hands of me after finding a carrier and were supportive up to the moment I got my car.
I had a terrible experience with the carrier, but Jorge and Amerifreight certainly did everything they could to help. It was definitely good customer service on their end!
