Terrible service and unreliable quote

I contacted this firm on the basis of a friend's recommendation. I contacted them in March for a move scheduled at the end of June. I finalized the agreement in May when I had a delivery address. Since mid June I have called and emailed multiple times to check on progress. My assigned rep did not respond but another rep three times assured me there was no problem. Seven days before the desired delivery date I called again. When the assigned rep referred to the desired delivery date as the pick up date, I knew we were in trouble. Then another rep called from Cascade saying he found a carrier - again for the wrong date - but needed permission to charge me $300 above what I was quoted. I said to cancel the order. Another company I called that afternoon found a carrier in two hours. I wouldn't recommend Cascade to anyone.

Nancy...We appreciate you coming to our company on your friends referral. Obviously your friend had a favorable experience with us or he/she wouldn't have done that. Our order notes show that we did have a Carrier that inquired about taking your Subaru Outback for 150.00 above what we had quoted you and we did offer you that option. Our pricing is not perfect and we will offer options along the way as a solution to your shipping needs. What you fail to mention is the information you provided us that I am copying in here...Kayla M at 06/21/2013 01:35 PM: "spoke with customer and car can only be picked up between the 22nd-25th" You provided June 21st as the first available pickup date for us" You cancelled at 2 pm on the 1st day you allowed our company to load your vehicle. If you would have read the terms and conditions and/or adhered to the 1 to 10 day time period policy we provide, I'm sure we would have met or exceeded your expectations as we did for your friend. It seems a bit overbearing that based upon unreal expectations you would rate us under our FIVE STAR STANDARD. In the end, I hope you had your car shipped, but I know for certain, it was not shipped that afternoon with any other company. REGARDS...GREG BAILEY...VICE PRESIDENT
