I was moving from Massachusetts to Portland, OR, which is just about as far as you can travel coast to coast, and was a complete novice at the autotransport industry. Amerifreight was one of the only companies certified as A+ by the BBB, which was my first initial step in contacting them. I was assisted by Graham, who did an amazing job as my contact person. I am the type of person who asks a lot of questions, and Graham patiently and graciously answered each one. I felt he was incredibly transparent with the process, how the car would be shipped, the cost, how long it would take, etc. Excellent customer service overall.
Originally, I was nervous since there was only a time window for pickup, however Graham was able to find a carrier for the day after I said the car would be available. I only had to pay $55 over the original asking price, which I felt was reasonable given how quickly they could load it and get it going.
The transition to the autotransport carrier was smooth, and I personally met with the drivers who drove my car from Boston to Portland. They were friendly, and were easily contactable when I called to check on the car's location.
My car arrived more or less when they predicted they would arrive, and besides some splattered bugs, was in the same condition as when I had it in Boston, gas level was the same, and nothing stolen or missing.
I would totally recommend Amerifreight to someone else shipping their vehicle across the country. What made them stand out was their top-notch service, quick response times, timely answers to my questions, and accredited rating from the BBB.
