We used FC to ship my late parents antique bedroom furniture. Planning to refinish it, we weren't concerned about superficial damage, but one piece was pulverized and needs to be totally re-built, and GOUGES were taken out of 2 others! After 6 months, we got a check for $119.02- 1/4 of the estimate to fix the nightstand alone. They said it wasn't THEIR fault, it was the fault of the company THEY had contract to do it! At this level of accountability, they could have ground it all up, put it in a box and slapped a stamp on it- they would have come out way ahead!
