Wow, as my phone rang, I googled the # because I knew my elderly mom was trying to ship her car to me (no one has my cell #). This site came up. I did not answer the call and immediately called to warn her that she had possibly been snookered.

This company took the $200 via draft over the phone (oh NO, they can drain your acct that way!!!) and then claimed they could ship the car faster for add'l money (I think $150) because of an incoming storm between here and there. We are in no hurry to get the car. She was able to close her account and not lose the $200, but what a pain in the neck (and how easy it was to potentially rip off a senior. They were persistent and Mom wants the car gone, so she didn't do her due diligence and almost was shafted.

If she had shipped the car, they expected the balance on our end ($200 + $395 from us, before the price went up for "faster service") had to be paid by cash or cashiers check. They don't take credit cards :::scratches head:::
