Poor Communication, Poor Execution

Unfortunately, my experience was that, at about every step in the process, there was poor/no communication and the data I was given wasn't accurate.

During my initial phone call I placed a formal order, but they neglected to get credit card information from me and, as a result, I lost my first driver and the pickup was delayed a full week. I had to contact them to discover what the issue was.

There were two points during the process when I was supposed to hear from someone as to the status. Once was from National Transport and the other from the contract carrier. Both times I had to call them to get the status.

Their website is easy to use. The tracking system is really slick...but the information was only partially accurate. The pickup and delivery dates were wrong (still says delivery was two days ago and I don't have the vehicle yet). At one point, the system showed that the vehicle was in transit when there hadn't yet been a driver assigned.

The vehicle was to arrive two days ago, then yesterday, now today (I've had to call them to get the information).

I don't think they are dishonest at all and at least I could always get a hold of customer service at National Transport and the carrier (that's a plus!), but the information they gave was inaccurate and rarely followed through on the commitment to contact me. Overall, I didn't expect to be impressed and I wasn't - certainly not 4 star service from my perspective. Hopefully the car will arrive without incident.
