My Experience with this Transporter

I picked United Road, frankly, because they were the HIGH COST provider. I did not want corners cut with my transport. The car, although not a Rolls Royce, was very important to me.
I also checked Unitied Road's reviews, which were generally very good.

The bottom line folks? You are dealing with truck drivers, not Mitt Romney. These guys are truck drivers for various reasons, very few of which are linked to stellar personal or inter-personal skills.

The vehicle pick up did not go well. The Seller of the vehicle had problems with the drivers being several hours late...by the time they arrived it was pouring down rain. The car he had detailed was, of course, soaked. The drivers had problems getting the car up the ramp and into their vehicle because of the rain and slippery ramp. It was also, by then, too dark to do a good job checking over the vehicle, and they had to use a flashlight! So you can see why an emotional Seller, letting go of one of his "babies", was not in a good mood at pick-up. I was pretty worried going into my receipt of the vehicle based on what I considered sub-standard conduct and execution by the drivers.

On the other end, waiting for the car's arrival, I didn't care about ANYTHING except...WILL THE VEHICLE ARRIVE UNDAMAGED? I met the drivers when they arrived. They had to park a few blocks away due to the narrow streets in my development. When I walked up, we shook hands. The car was already on the ground. I questioned them about the pick up. Of course there are always two sides to every story. No doubt the pick up did not go well. The drivers were also a few hours late at my end so, even if well-intentioned, they need to clean up that bad habit. I told them, "Don't make promises you can't keep. Just be HONEST with the customer." They agreed.

Net net? The vehicle was NOT damaged during transit, I was happy, I shook the drivers' hands and gave them a nice tip. I have my car, and the Customer Service by UnitedRoad throughout the transaction was EXCELLENT. Despite some issues, I would have them transport for me again. Hey, the reality is, if your vehicle arrives with no dings, dents, etc., you will be happy. I waxed the car and water marks came off the vehicle, drove it yesterday, and was wonderful!
All said and done, I believe that UnitedRoad has the EXPERIENCE necessary to handle customers who are very fussy about their transport. They have moved every kind of vehicle in every kind of condition. And they came through for me, despite a few glitches. Paul / Texas
