I recently bought a truck from Ohio while I was being stationed in TX, big 'ol Texas. Smack dab in the middle of nowhere, San Angelo. I never got the original destination, but its because its off of the main highways. So after waiting 16 days with no truckers opting to pick up the truck (offering upwards of $1600), my rep asked if an alternate destination would be ok, and it was. After waiting so long, we opted to pick up the truck in Dallas for $1200. The original quote I received was $650 for San Angelo. This was upsetting but I was ready for my truck and figured most shippers would be about the same. Amerifreight was very helpful and communication was always fluid.If it wasn't for being where I was, I am sure I would have got the vehicle expeditiously. Overall, I was happy and no damage.
